Ray Crisis - hell yeah, laggy like Raystorm but if you can run it, the soundtrack is amazing and the games trippy as heckįinal fantasy 4 - the cheapest Final fantasy due to it being ridiculously hard, it's basically the DS version on a big screen, fine without a controller.

Raystorm is OK, so laggy on my phone tho despite being more than powerful enough to run it (I play it on PC with Bluestacks) Rayforce, 2D vertical scrolling shooter, also has soundtrack by zuntata, great with or without controller, runs fine some say it's too short, some say there's bugs (not noticed any), level design could be better but it's a really pretty FPS, personally I love it, not everyone does tho.ĭarius Burst, a horizontally scrolling shooter with amazing music by zuntata and cool beam duels against the bosses, plays fine with or without controller. Openarena is free, but it's basically Quake 3 with different levels etc, no ads or in app purchases - you can play with the Quad touch app but controls are fine without and it has a VR mode for those cheap headsets you put the phone into :) Super immersive that way, love itīright memory is.

There's some other games I'd also consider the best, the Quad touch and Delta touch apps let you play most of the Doom and Quake games, Heretic, Hexen, Hexen 2, Project Osiris (remake of Alien Breed 3D), most Doom mods TBH, and Quake mods (Arcane dimensions is a must play) even Doom 3 - no Quake 4 unfortunately(though you need the files from the actual games), you can play with touchscreen (not great but playable), controller (controller and gyroscope combined is as good as mouse and keyboard) or even plug in a mouse and keyboard I want a sequel already lol, I really don't think this game gets enough recognition. I haven't finished my first playthrough yet, there's a new game+ mode with increased challenge after. It's a sort of platform hack and slash RPG, graphics don't necessarily take advantage of the highest spec phones but it doesn't matter when they still look great either way. The controls are VERY well done, it's comfortable to play even without a controller, and the dash button is just so much fun to use, the movement, combat etc are just perfect.
